The Critical Sustainability Stories (CriSS) Tool – Guidance for Users
The CriSS tool is designed to help communicators consider the messaging and information used within stories so that they are told in a way that incorporates a rigorous and organised approach to complex ideas, and involves evidence-based research and expert knowledge.
The CriSS tool invites users to reflect, discuss, and learn about sustainability and climate issues, a process designed to advance their research skills and global challenge literacy. Use of the CriSS Tool
will ultimately increase the inclusion of evidence-based research and expert knowledge, and therefore the quality and reliability of content on sustainability and climate change challenges for audiences.
