Project Development Manager

Helen is our Project Development Manager at SAIL, and was our first employee back in 2021.

Before joining SAIL, Helen studied Art & Design at the University of Leeds, and after her bachelors become a sculptural artist with a particular focus on the intersections between art and science, audience interactivity, and placing creativity as the communicator of social, political and environmental issues.

With this as her motivation, Helen returned to Leeds University to study an MSc in Sustainability and Consultancy, graduating in 2021. After completing her MSc research project to create a Model & Roadmap for Circularity with SAIL, Helen joined us on a freelance basis in 2021 on our first funded project.

Helen’s strengths are communication, organisation and innovative thinking, and in her free-time, you’ll find Helen behind a pottery wheel or on her allotment.
