Mary Lawrence

Sustainability Manager

Mary Lawrence is a Sustainability Manager at SAIL, having joined the team in August 2024. Previously, Mary spent three years driving the sustainable transformation of a multinational technology and consulting business where she gained expertise shaping sustainability strategy, carbon accounting, and delivering decarbonisation projects with a particular focus on behaviour change and employee engagement. Mary is a member of IEMA (the Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment) and is passionate about bringing her sustainability skills to the cultural and creative industries of West Yorkshire.
Outside of work Mary is part of the team behind ‘Run of the Mill’, a friendly, all abilities-welcome running club based in Shipley, and in attempts to be more sustainable at home you may also find her attempting to knit, sew, and grow vegetables.
