his report has been commissioned by the Interreg Europe funded Green Screen project. It aims to support those supply companies as they seek to play their part in moving towards a low emission industry by implementing informed business decisions which are good, not only for the profitability of that company, but for the protection of our collective future. The report also aims to provide examples and transferable learnings to other parts of Europe, supporting the transition to more sustainable practices in the film and television industry in Europe.

This research has been informed by suppliers, production companies, vehicle experts, low carbon energy specialists, environmental consultants, sustainable business strategists, energy equipment manufacturers, film commissions and film agencies. Synthesising these conversations together, this report offers film and TV production suppliers up-to-date insights on their opportunity for helping cut emissions from the industry.
