Lead sustainability consultant

Mary Lawrence is Lead Sustainability Consultant at SAIL, having joined the team in August 2024. Previously, Mary spent three years driving the sustainable transformation of a multinational technology and consulting business where she gained expertise shaping sustainability strategy, carbon accounting, and delivering decarbonisation projects with a particular focus on behaviour change and employee engagement.

Mary is a Practitioner member of IEMA (the Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment) and is passionate about bringing her sustainability skills to the cultural and creative industries.

Outside of work Mary enjoys getting outdoors, hiking, trail running, and wild swimming, and in attempts to be more sustainable at home you may also find her attempting to knit, sew, and grow vegetables.
